Crossways Counseling Celebrates 25 Years!

On the evening of September 18, 2000, I met with a private practice client for the first time in a small, second floor office in the historic Lucas General Store building on Main Street in downtown Grapevine. For over 25 years now, it's been my honor to help serve the surrounding communities of the DFW metroplex (and beyond) primarily through counseling individuals, couples and families in a variety of different contexts. Considering that recent statistics indicate the failure rate for healthcare practices, including psychology practices, within the first five years is 45.2% and within 10 years is about 59%, I am extremely thankful! When I started this practice, I was so excited to celebrate the opening of this new counseling venture with my wife of 5 months, Amber, my mother Bonnie, and my father Ray (pictures included). Over these 25 plus years, both my father and mother have passed away, Amber and I have now been married over 25 years, and we're the proud parents of two beautiful young women who've also chosen to help assist others in their own unique ways. As our family has gone through numerous changes over the years, we sincerely understand, so has everyone's. From our family to yours, THANK YOU for your support, your referrals and more importantly the relationships we've formed over these years. As my dad would often say, "Life is one big series of adjustments." Although I still think that would be the perfect motto for a chiropractor, I hope to reinforce this idea for many more years to come through Crossways Counseling & Consulting :)
